District-Wide Fall College Fair

The Newark City of Learning Collabortive and Newark  Public Schools will host the second annual District-Wide College Fair on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Rutgers-Newark Golden Dome Athletic Center. The fair is co-sponsored by Mayor Ras Baraka, the Newark School Advisory Board, the Municipal Council, and all of NCLC’s higher education partners: Bloomfield College, Essex County College, Pillar College, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers University-Newark, Berkeley College, Felician University, Montclair State University, and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences.

The College Fair will will bring together about 50 colleges from around the country, including county colleges, state schools, Ivy League schools, HBCUs, and small liberal arts colleges. Newark high school students, parents, and guardians are invited to receive information about college majors, scholarships, and more. High school seniors will also have the ability to apply to several schools and receive on-site admissions decisions.
